Launch Psychology is a Calgary-based clinic specializing in providing counselling and assessment services for children, teens, and families. Our experienced team supports clients through evaluations for learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, giftedness, and intellectual disabilities, as well as offering counselling for challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, social skills, and behavioral concerns. We are dedicated to helping youth and families thrive through compassionate and tailored psychological services.

We operate as part of a larger Collective, and opportunity exists to contract with other clinics on-site as well. Part of the Collective experience means case-conceptualization, frequent opportunities to consult with peers, a large gathering/workspace with a ton of windows and natural light, a library of resources, large atrium in our building, waiting area for families, play room for children, great snacks and coffee, and so much more!


Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Provisional Psychologist located in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments for conditions such as learning disabilities, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, using standardized assessment tools and practices. Collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals will be an integral part of the day-to-day tasks.


Qualifications

-Expertise in Psychology and Mental Health practice
-Experience in conducting Psychological Assessments for diverse needs, including developmental and cognitive conditions
-Knowledge of and adherence to ethical standards in psychological and mental health services
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with children, teens, families, and colleagues
-Completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field
Registered as a Provisional Psychologist or eligibility for provisional registration in Alberta
-Experience working with youth and families is an asset
